After significant research and due diligence in selecting a surgeon, I came under the care of Dr. Hu for a partial nephrectomy aimed at removing a suspected early stage renal cell carcinoma from my left kidney. I cant begin to express how grateful I am to have met Dr. Poppas and his team. After my daughter was born she was going through right kidney failure. He reassured me that she was in good hands. Dr. Poppas performed multiple surgeries on my daughter from 12 weeks old until she was almost 2 years old. He was so thorough, explained every detail and answered all of my questions. Even if I asked the same question he was patient and kind and would answer them all. While this was a very stressful time for us Dr. Poppas and his team was with us every step of the way. Always checked in to make sure our little girl was doing ok. I will never forget how important he is to us! Thank you so much Dr. Poppas & team!

Excellent physician. Great team too, I was initially seen by his fellow at the faculty practice, Dr. K. followed quickly and examined me. The visit was short and to the point, with all my questions answered. He ordered imaging which was super smooth (and I had imaging just a few days later).
